Why you should trust a website that claims to protect you
I am a security guard, I have lived in cities for almost 40 years and know the fear of being burgled or a loss of personal possessions.
I know what it’s like to be burgled, I know how the police are supposed to respond.
But I have also lived through other kinds of security breaches, like being forced to open a drawer in my house because my daughter had been crying and a key from the house would not unlock.
The last incident happened when I was at home in the middle of the night, when a burglar smashed in my door and stole my computer and iPhone.
I went to a neighbor’s house, and the guy, who was a security contractor, showed me a security camera that recorded what he did.
The video shows the burglar walking up to the door, then stepping away and coming back, only to leave his shoes behind.
That is the kind of security breach that I would rather avoid than have happen.
I was also scared of being caught in a fire, because I had never had to evacuate the house and I was afraid that someone would find me and try to burn my house down.
So, when I heard about the site ProtectYourWeb, I took the plunge.
I checked it out.
If you have experienced a security breach or a fire at home, I would like to hear from you.
Tell me about your experience, your concerns and how you feel about the company.
What did you think of the site?
If I had been a security consultant, I probably would have been much more skeptical of the product, as well.
I didn’t think it was worth the $10 I paid for the trial.
But the security professionals I spoke with seemed genuinely interested in helping their clients.
I spoke to one who was selling a home security system, and he told me that he was a former professional fire fighter who had helped fire departments in the past.
He told me the best thing about ProtectYourweb was that it didn’t cost him a cent.
If you’ve ever experienced a fire or a security incident, please share your experience.
